You can’t beat a British garden in the summertime – unless its 800ft above central London.

The View from the Shard recently launched its stunning summer garden on its sky deck making its London’s highest green space so visitors can enjoy garden delights while taking in breathtaking views of London.

The sky deck at the top of Western Europe’s tallest building has been transformed with more than 2,000 plants and flowers to celebrate the Great British Summertime.

Taking months to prepare and more than 350 man-hours to install, national floral favourites including poppies, fox gloves, lavender, marigolds and birch trees have been planted in more than 10,000 litres of soil, set among a further 750 metres of decorative foliage.

The summer garden installation at The View from The Shard will be on display until September. Tickets are priced from £24.95 per adult, available online at www.theviewfromtheshard.com
