Become Chief Adventure Officer and get paid to travel Britain

This September, National Rail is calling for aspiring adventurers to apply for Britain’s ultimate part-time job. Key qualities for the dream job include an adventurous spirit, a natural curiosity for new places and the desire to share travel experiences with the world.

The role of Chief Adventure Officer (CAO) will see one lucky traveller vlogging their way around Great Britain on paid-for trips to destinations of their choice – and paid £10,000 for the privilege.

From getting lost in the world-famous Hampton Court Maze, trampolining in Snowdonia or surfing along the Jurassic Coast, budding explorers will have the opportunity to tour Great Britain in search of adventure.

Daniela Maki, railcards product manager from National Rail, said: “Getting paid to travel is a lot of people’s dream job and now we are making it a reality for one lucky person. We are looking for a real adventurer, someone who lives to explore new places and loves telling the world about their exciting travels.”

“Our new CAO will get the chance to visit some really amazing locations and inspire us all by showing the exciting places Great Britain has on offer. So if your suitcase is always by the door, just in case, and you are looking for your next adventure this is the perfect new job for you.”

To apply, aspiring adventurers, who are aged between 16 and 25 years old or mature students, simply need to send in a video of a recent trip by Sunday 16 October and say a little bit about themselves on www.16-25railcard.co.uk/CAO
