    We’re delighted to announce the winner of the Great British Holiday Competition 2022! And without further ado…

    We’re excited to announce that the winner of the Great British Holiday Competition 2022 is Thomas Davidson, who was picked from many thousands of entrants.

    Thomas wins the holiday of a lifetime, including a one-night stay for two at five-star London hotel The Capital with breakfast and a glass of champagne for two, courtesy of Pride of Britain Hotels. Whilst in London, Thomas and his guest will explore the Tower of London and receive a pair of tickets to attend the historic Ceremony of the Keys. Thomas will also receive a pair of tickets to visit Hampton Court Palace and experience the private life of Henry VIII and the public dramas of the Tudor court, all thanks to Historic Royal Palaces.

    In London, Thomas and his chosen guest will also enjoy cocktails at A View from the Shard and Michelin-starred dining for two at Galvin La Chapelle. This is thanks to Buyagift, the UK’s leading provider of experience days.

    Buyagift are also providing Thomas and his guest two tickets to explore the iconic Edinburgh Castle, followed by a delicious three-course dinner.

    In Edinburgh, the winner and his guest will enjoy a stay, including breakfast and dinner at The Dunstane Houses, a five-star boutique hotel set in two Victorian townhouses near Edinburgh’s Old Town, also courtesy of Pride and Britain Hotels and The Dunstane.

    Also thanks to Pride of Britain Hotels, the trip will be rounded off with a one-night stay for two at Whatley Manor Hotel & Spa, a luxurious Cotswolds hotel in Wiltshire. The stay includes dinner in the Michelin-starred Dining Room with use of the Aquarias Spa facilities and a flotation pod experience.

    Thomas and his guest will also be given two annual passes for entry to Blenheim Palace, one of the country’s finest stately homes and the birthplace of Winston Churchill.
