Win a Scottish Highlands adventure

Enter our latest competition for a chance to escape to the awe-inspiring Lochaber for four nights, with travel provided by the iconic Caledonian Sleeper train

Scotland’s West Highlands is packed with history and breathtaking scenery featured in many blockbuster films. Lochaber in particular is a land of peaceful solitude and magnificent mountains, lochs and glens, making it the perfect place to relax. In fact, Fort William, the area’s largest town, prides itself on its reputation as “The Outdoor Capital of the UK”. Ten miles away, nestled in the picturesque village of Roy Bridge, is the base for our competition winner’s stay: the charming Stronlossit Inn, where true Highland hospitality awaits.

The winner and their guest will travel there in ease, style and comfort, whizzing between England and Scotland while you slumber onboard the famous Caledonian Sleeper. In your private room, you’ll enjoy a blissful night’s sleep on mattresses from Highland-based Glencraft, which has served four generations of the British Royal Family.

Arriving refreshed at Roy Bridge, the first thing you’ll notice will be the clean, crisp air. Your home-from-home is just across the road, with everything you might expect from a Highland hotel: roaring log fires, en-suite accommodation, and scrumptious cuisine.

Of course, you’re sure to be tempted backoutside eventually. Stronlossit is near the Ben Nevis range, offering you the chance to scale Britain’s highest mountain or admire it from afar. Alternatively, you can enjoy a more relaxing day trip by catching one of the regular trains that run from Roy Bridge to Fort William, Mallaig (via the Glenfinnan
Viaduct, as featured in the Harry Potter films) and Glasgow.
