Belton House

The south front at Belton House, Lincolnshire. The house was built in the 1680s and its designer is thought to be William Winde.

This classic 17th-century English country house is set in delightful gardens with a magnificent deer park. Perfect symmetry, opulent décor, fine furnishings and Brownlow family portraits give Belton both grandeur and a more intimate feel while our ‘Below Stairs’ tours give fascinating insights into how Belton’s servants lived and worked in the 1900s.

This year we are putting the spotlight on our collections, from the rare books and silverware in the house, to varieties of stunning specimen trees in the park and specialist planting in the Orangery.
