Great Fosters
Set in the heart of the Windsor Forest and originally reputed to be a royal hunting lodge, parts of which dates back to the late 16th century, Great Fosters boasts a long and celebrated history.
Since it first opened its doors as a hotel in 1930, this magnificent Grade I-listed residence has welcomed royalty, film stars, emperors and literary icons. Today, it offers guests a luxurious retreat for short breaks, conveniently positioned just a short drive from Heathrow airport, the M25 and M4, and many of London’s leading attractions. In-keeping with the historic surroundings, all of the suites and bedrooms are individually decorated, some with four-poster beds, Persian rugs, gilt furnishings and damask walls, many with tapestries, antiques and artefacts dating back hundreds of years.
