Crathorne Hall

    Crathorne Hall

Built in 1906 this imposing hotel overlooks the Leven Valley, a former seat of the Dugdale family who built the property after growing wealthy on proceeds from the Lancashire cotton trade, and bought the estate in 1844 originally for leisure pursuits.

In the 1970s the property was transformed into lavish hotel accommodation. Guests arriving today will be immediately struck by its presence, the property having entertained society figures, politicians and even royalty in its 20th century heyday and now playing host to some of the finer things in life for lucky patrons enjoying its four- red-star rated hospitality. Rooms are divided into Classic, Executive and Deluxe and if you can tear yourself from their comforts the restaurant will tempt with a fine dining menu. Afterwards take away the hotel’s exclusive recipe of the month to recreate a little of the Crathorne experience at home.
