Discover Britain takes Bronze in British Travel Awards 2016

We’re delighted to announce Discover Britain claimed Bronze in the Best Consumer Holiday Magazine category at the prestigious 2016 British Travel Awards. The announcement was made last night at a glamorous Gala Awards ceremony, held in London.

Acting editor, Nicola Rayner, says: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for Discover Britain in the British Travel Awards this year – we’re absolutely thrilled. It’s a joy to work on a title that explores Britain’s rich history and spectacular varied beauty and, after 30 years as a leading travel magazine, it is brilliant to know that our readers are still enjoying exploring with us .”

The awards, which are voted for by you, our readers, bring together the best of the British travel industry and it is an honour that so many of you voted for us.

This year 333,200 consumers registered to place their votes and a whopping 1,332,516 votes and opinions were cast between 4 July and 30 September 2016.
