Dine in the skies above London
London is awash with restaurants with spectacular views but London in the Sky is, quite literally, taking dining in the capital to a whole new level.
From 17 to 30 September, you will be able enjoy the best food and drink London has to offer in a truly exhilarating environment: high in the skies above central London.
London in the Sky, London’s most exhilarating dining experience has changed location from St Katharine Docks to the Upper Ground on South Bank – the heart of the capital’s bustling cultural life – for this September’s pop-up experience. Suspended 25 metres from the ground the restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and Champagne Taittinger flights for guests looking to enjoy the best food and drink London.
Dale Agar of Events in the Sky says: “With sweeping views of some of London’s most iconic buildings, our new location at South Bank on the Thames is a fantastic spot for this year’s London in the Sky event. The new site is great for guests due to its unique views, proximity to key transport hubs and nearby attractions including the BFI, Hayward Gallery and Queen Elizabeth Hall. We look forward to hosting some of the capital’s most talented chefs for this once in a lifetime experience next month.”
The table seats 22 guests, with food prepared and served in front of diners by some of London’s finest chefs in the centre of the table up in the sky. Guests are securely fastened in before the platform is raised from the ground and their gourmet experience begins.
