The Skeleton of a Stone Age woman discovered in Llandudno in North Wales over 100 years ago is to go on permanent display in Llandudno Museum for the first time since its discovery.

Known as ‘Blodwen’, the Neolithic woman’s skeleton was discovered by a Lancashire engineer in 1891 who donated the skeleton to the Bacup Natural History Society museum in Lancashire where it has remained ever since. Now, the skeleton will be returning to the North Wales town where it was first discovered and will be on permanent display at the Llandudno Museum in order for locals and visitors alike to learn more about Blodwen’s history.
